Job Title: LOAN OFFICERS/SALES CONSULTANTS

Job Description

Main Purpose:

* Ensure that all administrative tasks in the branch, according to the Branch Manual procedures, are strictly adhered to.
* Effectively achieving set sales targets by actively and proactively identifying of opportunities.
* To ensure continuous complaince with sales process implementation (e.g. sales proceses, policies and procedures, legislative
requirements ext)
* Ensure that all loan application documentation is completed correctly and neatly.
* Ensure that application documentation is legible when scanned through to Head Office.
* Ensure that all the required source documentation, as set out in the Branch Manual procedures, is correctly captured onto the system.
* Ensure that all administrative tasks in the branch regarding credit granting (affordability calculations),
are done according to the Branch Manual procedures, and are strictly adhered to.
* Coping with pressure and setbacks

* Offer a professional, friendly and efficient service to customers focused on building relationships at all times
* Explain complaince requirements to clients and reasons for non approval of credit applications where necessary.
* Educate clients, new and existing on financial planning.
* Proactively contact existing clients to inform them on new products, if they meet all requirements.
* Attract and retain new and existing clients through continuous Service Excelence.

Responsibilities:

"* Develop and execute an effective sales strategy by:
- formulating a structured new customer penetration strategy involving cold calling and referral mining
- maintaining discipline in executing the new customer strategy
- ensuring that referrals are obtained from all customers that are successfully assisted"
* Ensure that you contribute to the profitability of the branch by meeting individual sales targets set by
management.
* Assist the Agent Facilitator, and contribute to marketing initiatives.
* Distribute marketing material as and when instructed by the Agent Facilitator.
* Setting-up and taking down of marketing material as instructed by the Agent Facilitator.
* Ensure essentail support to localized sales campaigns.
* To ensure effective sales conversion from identify leads

* Keeping the branch and your work area neat at all times.
* Advise the Agent Facilitator timeously on the ordering of additional marketing material.
* Ensure that maintenance issues are reported to the Agent Facilitator.
* To protect the Real People brand.

* Ensure that you use company equipment for the purpose intended.
* Ensure that all branch assets/equipment are accounted for at all times.
* Report any unserviceable equipment to the Sales Consultant Representative.

* To take the necessary steps in the event of theft, burglary or fire.
* To ensure that reports and administrative requirements are submitted timeously.
* Ensure that you complete the telephone register in respect of all calls made from the branch.
* Ensure that you know, understand and adhere to the MFRC/NCR rules.

* Attend training and meetings as and when requested by management.
* Ensure that you are presentable at all times and that you adhere to the company's dress code.
* Ensure that you submit your annual leave planning to your manager in January of each year.
* Ensure that you complete your attendance register daily and that you submit it to your manager for verification.
* Ensure that company procedure pertaining to security is maintained and adhere to.
* To perform any additional duties over and above the ones listed in this job description as and when required
by Management.
