Main Purpose: |
The compliance officer is the guardian of regulatory requirements and product compliance and also check if
regulatory compliance requirements are met at the factory.
He/She supports the QA Manager in the overall
management of quality processes. The function contributes to the implementation of the Nestle Continuous
Excellence in the pursuit of zero defect as the essential base for maintaining consumer trust and
preference. |
Responsibilities: |
People and know-how
Promote Quality awareness and commitment to quality across the factor.
System design
Ensure the regulatory requirement sof all products produced in his factory are available and known by all relevant staff.
Ensure that regulatory requirements of all countries where products will be exported to are known by relevant employees and are readily accessible in the factory.
Ensure the right parameters limits per product are provided by the country Regulatory & Scientific Manager.
Ensure that methods applied in analysis of parameters are
validated,monitor and accepted by authorities or in line regulated.
Implement the recommended monitoring frequency to ensure that
regulatory compliance is met and any deviations are diligently
followed up and corrected (samples sending to regional labs. For contaminants and pathogens monitoring, report, action plan, follow up and review).
Ensure periodic product process capability analysis using statistical tool (N-SPC) to ensure products comply with norms.
Ensure that there are measures in place to ensure Halal or kosher requirements from raw materials to finished products.
Ensure that label declaration is in alignment with recipe and
validated by those responsible at corporate and factory level.
Contact point in the factory for the preparation export documents and samples for registration of new product.
Quality mastership
Support Nestle Continuous Excellence program in the quest for zero defect.
Support activities to achieve compliance with the Nestle Quality
Management System requirements and other applicable instructions and ISO 22000.
Quality auditing and verification
Performs trouble shooting and corrective action follow-up of non conformities.
Root causes analysis of non conformities / consumer trade and IMS Compliant.

Skills: |
Basic knowledge in food safety (Food safety courses).
Aware of specification, recipe and compliance management processes.
Basic knowledge of GLOBE transactions (GLOBE course).
Basic knowledge of NGMP (NGMP course).
Basic knowledge of hygienic engineering (hygienic engineering course).
Basic knowledge of HACCP (HACCP course).
Basic knowledge of NOMS (NOMS course).
Basic knowledge of ISO 22000.
Aware of statistical process control (SPC course).
Aware of validation of analytical methods (VAM course).
Basic Knowledge of product category (product seminar, college).
Aware of SHE in a laboratory environment (SHE course) |
