Responsibilities: |
Responsible for good housekeeping within the production areas.
Responsible for proper application of the QMS within the department.
Responsible for application of NQS elements in the production process.
Responsible for ensuring achievement of planned production quantity.
Responsible for ensuring optimal and disciplined use of SSS in production management, and in particular ensuring timely closure of process orders in the section.
Responsible for on line and rapid product trials
Responsible for overall product quality as manufactured in his section.
Responsible for new product development to improve the company's competitiveness.
Responsible for ensuring that employee are involved in continuous improvements in his section and especially that MDWT are active and operational.
Responsible for compliance to safety and environmental regulations within his section, and in particular to the company's Safety Policy, NEMS as read together with their respective local legislation.

Requirements |
Skills: |
Provide inputs for costing purposes of new product/process activities and advise on best options.
Ensure involvement in changing to more cost effective materials and processes to lower costs.
Follow up and investigate causes of variances in material & labour.
Manage rework to avoid accumulation and avoid its generation.
Manage optimal stocks and utilization of sundry items in Production.
Ensure all line & processes are covered by a HACCP study.
Manage training on awareness of HACCP to all employees.
Follow up on modifications to bring CCPs under control.
Prepares and keeps records of operation parameters
Prepares recipes for new products
Ensure proper standardization of recipes in use to ensure products are manufactured within the set norms.
Manage efficient and optimal use of resources i.e. machines, time & labor in line with set targets (KPIs).
Manage quality of products by ensuring proper parameters and checks are done online during
production process.
Manage production record keeping in line with company requirements.
Ensure adherence to safety requirements.
Manage on the job training of employees.
Perform staff appraisals & advise on promotions, increase depending on performance.
Manage efficient utilization of employees.
Ensure application of Human Resources policies & procedures
